This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected and processed by us when you use the our mobile applications (the “VBiz - Digital Business Card”).

The App is a free to use (with optional in-app-purchases), and in order to maintain the high quality and a great app experience we process information from and about you in particular to improve the entire experience in the App and to support internal operations.

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, depending on the specific changes, we will provide you with additional notice or require a renewed consent.

Information we collect automatically through the app

Non-Personal Information. When users interact with our application, we may collect non-personal-identity information associated with the user. Non-personal-identity information may include your phone’s model, version of os, language of device and other similar information.

a. We may collect your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

  • When you voluntarily provide it to us, such as when you register for an account with your email and password, or by using a social login.
  • When you accept another user’s invitation to connect on the Service.

    (1) For Personalized User Experience – We may use your Non-Personal Information to understand your user characteristics, and other trends related to user’s habits;

    (2) To Help Improve Our Service – We may use Non-Personal Information to provide, maintain, enhance and improve our applications, services and websites, and the development of new services.

    (3) For the Further Development of Instore – We might use Non-Personal Information for market promotion and development purposes.

    a. Personal Information. We do not store Personal Information, so your Personal Information cannot be disclosed by us.

    b. Non-Personal Information. We will not match non-personal information and personal information (such as numbering your name and your user-specific device).

    Vbiz exists to make your professional network more actionable, not to sell your data to anyone. However, we share personal information as follows:

  • Other users you connect with on the Service : The core functionality of the Vbiz allows you to share your Personal Information with other users, and to receive the Personal Information of those other users. When you invite another user to connect with you, either via the interface of the Service, or by sharing a QR code, link or other personal identifier generated by the Service, your Personal Information will be provided to people who view or access such code, link or identifier. You can control which information you share via the settings provided within the Service.
  • Legal Processes: We may also disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or when we believe in good faith that we are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants or court orders; when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the rights, property or safety of others; to enforce or apply our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service or our other policies or agreements.

    What Steps Do We Take To Protect Your Information?

    Your Rights: Reviewing, updating or Deleting Your Information

    You may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in your account from within the App or by contacting us at support@vbiz.app. You also authorize us, on your behalf, and in accordance with your account preferences to delete information when not reasonably needed for the Service. If you have shared your Personal or Other Information with others and they have not deleted it, or it was copied or stored by other users, Vbiz will not be obligated to delete such information..

    We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

    Our website and mobile applications comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and if in the event that a user identifies himself or herself as a child under the age of 13 through a support request or through any feedback, we will not collect, store or use, and will delete in a secure manner, any personal information of such user.

    We may use third-party Service Providers to show advertisements to you to help support and maintain our Service.

    Children

    Use of the App is limited to users aged 16 years and above, except in European Economic Area, where the App is limited to users aged 16 years and above. If you are accepting this Privacy Policy and using the App, you warrant you are 16 (or 18, depends what is applicable) or more years old.

    We send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device to provide app-related information, service updates, promotional communications and other related messages, if you have agreed to such notifications.
